The album is structured around 8 tracks speaking about the life and the writings of Michèle, feminism, gender violence (Powerful), her origins (Perros Ladrando), youth hopes (Send Lines), refugee’s treatments at the border at the borders (This Is Not).
Analogically recorded in three days on a legendary Tascam 388, the choice is definitely to have a live recording; magically enhanced by this wonderful machine.
Without leaving the lofi aesthetics, the choice has been made to focus on the drum and guitar mix, which is a great restitution of the feeling you see when you see Belmont Witch live.
“We wanted to capture the sound we have at this moment”. Expect the “beating” guitar, acid riffs by Jérôme and solid drumming by Millia.

L’album se structure autour de huit titres abordant le vécu et les textes de Michèle, le féminisme, la violence de genre (Powerful), les origines (Perros Ladrando), les espoirs de jeunesse (Send Lines), le sort des réfugiés aux frontières (This Is Not).

Enregistré analogique en trois jours sur les bandes du désormais légendaire Tascam 388, le parti pris est résolument live, mais gonflé, quasiment déjà masterisé par l’effet magique de la machine. Sans quitter l’esthétique lofi qui fait partie intégrante du son du groupe, le travail sur le son batterie lors de l'enregistrement et le choix du mix guitare restitue parfaitement le ressenti que l’on a lorsqu’on voit Belmont Witch sur scène. “On voulait faire une photographie de comment on sonnait dans l’instant”. En ressortent “l’aspect percussif” de la guitare rythmique de Michèle, en frontal des riffs acides de Jérôme, appuyés par la batterie imparable de Milia.
